Slow down, get creative, and learn the foundations of hand‑built pottery in this warm, beginner‑friendly 6‑week course.
Due to the popularity of our sold-out Wednesday workshop, and the interest shown in a daytime option, we have added an additional timeslot for this workshop.
Over six mornings, you’ll explore the essential techniques of hand building — pinch, coil, slab, joining, shaping, and surface design — while creating a series of functional and decorative pieces to take home.
Across the course, you’ll complete several guided projects with plenty of room to personalise your work. Expect a relaxed, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace, experiment, and enjoy the process.
$300 per person • Limited spaces
Your course fee includes:
- All clay and materials
- Use of studio tools
- Bisque firing and glaze firing
- Access to a range of glazes

Processing Time: After your workshop your pieces will need to dry for 2-3 weeks before being bisque fired, clear glazed and then fired again for a beautiful shine. This could take 4-6 week all together so please consider this if creating for a special occasion and book in early.

- If for some reason the workshop cannot go ahead due to insufficient numbers or other reasons, you will be notified up to 3 days before the booking date. We can then discuss rescheduling or a refund.

- We may from time to time photograph you and your artwork for the purpose of promoting the workshop via social media channels, email or newspapers etc. If you don't wish to be photographed, please let us know during the workshop.
