Pricing starts from as little as $10 and up to $40 to paint your own ceramics. Our product range is all handmade in store so the selection varies – although we always try to have a good range in stock of both practical and decorative items for you to choose from. Scroll down to see our range.
This is a great activity to do if you have already attended one of your workshops or if you just want to give it go – our friendly staff are here to help!
Price includes clay, bisque firing, paint/glaze and glaze firing.
Please note: after your workshop your pieces will need to dry for 2-3 weeks before being bisque fired, clear glazed and then fired again for a beautiful shine. This could take 4-6 week all together so please consider this if creating for a special occasion and book in early.
No need to book - walk-ins are always welcome!
NOTE: This workshop is also available as a bookable event for parties and functions. Contact Us today to book. To book this workshop as a private function we need a minimum of 6 people.

Customer Feedback

Sharon AotearoaI found the owner to be really knowledgeable and the quality of the items available to paint top knotch. I've done Foundation Vis Arts at UCOL and was a member of the Whanganui potters club years ago and its obvious that the people at Splatter are experts.
Kate WoodsHad an awesome time, so hard to pick what one to do though, such a friendly place, will definitely do it again.
Shaman TheronI went here today with my Dad! We had so much fun. We only wanted to have a look and ended up staying for over two and a half hours! The staff are so kind and welcoming. Best pottery painting I’ve ever been too! Really reasonable pricing too. Highly recommend and will be back!
Roanne HautapuSo much fun at the garden totem workshop today! Relaxed environment to get those creative juices flowing!
Cameron Jenkins-KeenGreat place, so much fun, great kind people who care about their art and craft.
